Well, I think this is my point. The Directive says nothing about
'subscriber'. It talks about 'natural persons' AFAICT
Must 'subscriber' (as it appears in the regulations) be given a literal
construction (as in the person who pays the bill) or a purposive
construction (as in 'individual subscriber = natural person').
If the former, then as a company maybe I am free to SMS spam any child
whose mobile phone is paid for by his or her parents.
