Skill is a successful and well-established national organisation developing opportunities for disabled people in post-16 education, training and employment. It has offices in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Skill is about to embark on an exciting business development strategy, which is designed to bring in additional unrestricted funds to the charity.
Business Development Manager, part-time (London office)
The post holder will identify business opportunities in consultancy, research and training through external procurement, and will research and prepare bids and tenders. S/he will work with Skill's policy and information staff to develop and promote new Skill products and services.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of managing business relationships with clients, and in writing bids and proposals.
The post will be part-time, ie 21 hours per week. The salary will be based on £28,406 p.a. (paid pro rata).
