Does the student receive DLA? If so, the mobility conponant may pay the
cost of this. Normally if the student receives the high rate of
mobility, they can swop this for an adapted car.
If you call the DLA helpline on 08457 123456

Subject: Funding for car adaptations
Hi All,
Does anyone know of any source of funding for disabled students to get
funding for paying for their cars to be adapted for disability reasons?
The student has already paid but has asked me to find out if he can get
the money reimbursed.
Thanks,
Ros Platton
