Hi again,
Ways to advertise interpreting posts:
CACDP used to circulate all suitably qualified people - for a charge, of
course.(www.cacdp.org.uk). Otherwise subscribe to the online directory &
get everyone's contact details.
ASLI posts vacancies on their website and then e-mails to alert members.
I presume for a charge.(www.asli.org.uk). Or you can get individual
free-lancers contact details from the website.
Deaf-uk-jobs places adverts free in their list, and will be read by many
interpreters.(http://www.alisonbryan.com/dukj/)
Agencies should have good circulation lists if you ask them to book for
you, eg some national agencies such as Sign Solutions.
In some circumstances it could be a reasonable adjustment to change the
timetable to fit availability of interpreters...(I'd be interested to
know if anyone manages this).
Good luck!
