Does anyone know the source of the Royal College of Radiologists'
guidance that, although we have 40 calendar days to respond to a subject
access request, the Secretary of State has issued guidance indicating
health care organisations should aim to meet requests in 21 days? They
say this in their publication, "Retention and
storage of images and radiological patient data", section 6.4
(http://www.rcr.ac.uk/docs/radiology/worddocs/RetentionandStorageofImage
s.doc).
Best wishes,
