Dear All,
I have a student who had a DSA assessment but had recently purchased a
laptop. The assessor would have recommended a laptop or computer so
recommended that the LEA reimburse the student for the computer. The
LEA have refused. I am a bit sketchy on the details as I haven't seen
the paperwork yet.
It is my understanding that it is fairly common practice now for
assessors to recommend reimbursement, especially when students have
recently purchased the equipment. Does anyone have any advice or
experience to offer on the arguments that can be put forward to the LEA?
Many thanks,
Ros Platton
