Hi Lucy
It may be worth contacting the Birmingham Disability Resource Centre
BDRC
Bierton Road
Yardley

email: [log in to unmask]
Telephone: 0121 789 7365
Fax: 0121 785 0104
They should know of reasonable accessible accommodation in the area
(and you never know a member of staff might be able to help out).

Dear All
I've had a personal approach from someone in France who is in the
process of organising a school trip to Birmingham next spring. Most
of
the French pupils will be placed with families of the pupils at the
local school. However, one of the pupils is a wheelchair user and
will
be accompanied by 2 adults and they are having difficulty in finding
appropriate accommodation (one option, of course, will be to go into a
hotel but that will be very expensive).
Does anyone have any suggestions/advice?
Many thanks
Lucy
