I have definitely experienced e-vendors where all you get is an email.
And probably from a "new" email address that you could not know to put
into a spam filter whitelist (if you run such a thing).

My travel example was a business trip.
ps I do feel something of a double standard is being recommended here.
People get company cars that they are allowed to use for private
mileage, but I'm sure they have just as much right to expect them to be
roadworthy during the private (as well as business) miles.
