Has anyone got experience with students with Familial Mediterranean
Fever? As symptoms and attacks are stress induced, lecturers see the
student as 'lazy, psychologically weak', and students therefore might
not want to talk.
Can anyone suggest ways to 1. get the message across to lecturers and
2. to minimise stress by perhaps aranging less stressful assessment?
By the way, following an EU project (a week at UWE in January'07) that
grew from an 8day British Council visit in Nov'04 - planned through
this forum: a third of Turkish universities are now beginning on the
road to developing better alternatives for their disabled students.
Thanks to everyone who has helped! Our next target is to get a Turkish
forum parallel to this one.
