Subject: Asperger's Syndrome
Dear All,
I have a student here at Roehampton who is convinced that he has Asperger’s syndrome. He has tried to get a diagnosis through his GP but has not been successful. If, I were to consider asking the Access to Learning Fund to consider paying for a diagnosis can someone tell me please:
1. Is there a reliable screening test for this and if so, where can this be done?
2. If someone was to undergo a full assessment for Asperger’s who would do this and what is the usual cost?
If you can help me with this I’d be grateful.
Many thanks
Pauline
