In my opinion this is a potentially disasterous state of affairs (from the
information I have at this time). I would be most unhappy about something
like this being put in with a "simple" password. Also, what is it
passwording? People mistakenly believe that a password on a Word or Excel
document is safe, when in fact they can generally be cracked in minutes with
the right software (available on the web).
I always harp on about audit trails and my reaction is where is it?
I think this needs to be thought through properly and seems like a well
meaning "let's put this information on the web for all concerned" which has
been done by someone without the requisite skills.
Simon Howarth.
