I also know that I'm not the first occupational therapy student where I am
who is a powered wheelchair user (meaning that you have upper limb and
lower limb difficulties)...and I go through life being mistaken for a
physio student a lot.
The basic question is whether they will accept (e.g.) manual handling
assessment by proxy, which may not even be needed depending on why your
student is a wheelchair user - it may be that they just need to alter some
of the positions & recognise their limitations...as all therapists do have
physical limitations on their practice from time to time due to injury.
