Apologies for cross posting.
We currently undertake a screening, but refer 100% of students onwards
for a diagnostic test. Because of this, we are pondering on the
usefulness of the screening that we do.
- Do you do an initial screening with a student who has not yet
been diagnosed as dyslexic?
- If so, does this screening get passed to the Specialist Tutor or
Ed Psych to feed into the diagnostic test?
- Roughly what percentage of students do you refer for a
diagnostic test?
I would appreciate examples of practice and/or advice!
