The LEA regs show that seconded nurses do qualify, it's point 9- "NHS
employees seconded to courses", worth pointing out to any LEAs who
aren't sure!
Also, they don't need to get seconded students to fill out PR1, as
they can give all relevant detail on the DSA form, the instructions on
the front of the DSA 1 (second section) include those who "onoy wishes
to applyfor DSAs and has not completed a PN1, PR1,..."

It may be true - the NHS bursaries site says that seconded students
don't qualify for DSAs.
