Dear all,
Please can anyone tell me if they recall that there is any reference to an
expecation of privacy for staff at work in legislation or recent case law?
I seem to recall something along the lines of this but cannot recall where
I have seen it.
I am not discussing whether or not we agree with this right, but just if
case law or legislation mentions it.
I would like to understand if staff can have a reasonable expectation of
privacy when using say, a work computer and if this could be superseded by
the company issuing a policy statement to the effect that staff should
have not expectation of privacy when using company computers.
Many thanks,
Clare
