Would love to - unfortuantly, my experience has not been a good one and
I wouldn't recommend anyone with a visual impairment to even attempt a
degree or post grad studies until a point in time when books can be
scanned in ahead of the start of a academic year, so that a person with
a sight impairment can start at the same point as everyone else! Also
support workers ought to be just that a 'support' not an extra burden
and they need to be reliable and capable of doing the job for which
they were employed.
kind regards
Elaine
