Hi Alice

we've had a similar thing sometimes with the BackFriend, that it leans a 
bit backwards depending on the shape of the chair underneath.  What 
people have tended to do is to jam something (their bag or scarf or 
whatever) between the back of the BackFriend and the chair, to keep it 
upright.  Other than that it seems to work really well.
