I had an idea that in Sweden criminals do not have their identities given in
newspapers. Does this ring any bells?
Of course, further to Nigel's point, if one hears about a case in a
newspaper or on TV, and one knows some facts about the case, it could
prevent a miscarriage of justice - in both directions, I suppose.
