Clearly they are more combative in Bracknell!
In "Grumpy Old Women" recently, Muriel Gray did speak of having seen a young
mother having a go at some older building workers in a supermarket for
swearing in front of her children.
I think she mentioned it (though she didn't admit it) because it was like
one of those Bateman cartoons or "Scenes You Seldom See" in Private Eye.

As it's Friday .......
More likely to get a smart rap on the shins with a walking stick or a bit of
loud "verbal" from little old ladies these days!
Nearly got knocked down the other day by "a little old man" madly driving a
disabled "buggy" through the pedestrianised town centre while he was hurling
abuse at anyone in his way! Perhaps the elderly need finger printing as
well.... now there's a thought for a Friday afternoon!

What if the police had been informed by a number of reliable witnesses
that one of the girls that had been seen on a regular basis mugging
little old ladies, had been wearing the school uniform of ??? school and
one of her mates had shouted to her..come on susan lets get out of here?
Oh by the way the last little old lady, the fifth to be mugged, is on a
life support machine. What then? Just a thought. Probably a bit far
fetched.
