Dear Amanda
I've passed your comment to the member of staff who is looking into this
issue, and she has asked me to forward her reply:
I guess for many students the transition won't be a problem but the
person who raised this had a specific case in mind and thought some other
students might also benefit from a short term transisition in a smaller,
quieter, more supportive environment than college and halls of residence
are sometimes able to provide. We are very much exploring ideas at this
stage.
We are also looking into existing mental health services and policies as
part of this early exploration.
We are grateful for any comments and suggestions.
With best wishes
Honey
