Leadership Recruitment only offer placements for disabled graduates on a
one year scheme. However, I have forwarded your enquiry to the London
Community Team who may be able to help.

Subject: Job Vacancies
Dear Colleagues,
I am currently looking for jobs (mainly advocacy) working with people
with disabilities in the UK, either in a University or community
setting. I have had four years practical experience working mainly with
people with autism spectrum disorders and have also had some experience
working with people with mood disorders, schizophrenia, head injury,
ADHD and Down's Syndrome. In addition, I have presented material at
National and International conferences on Autism.
At present, I am completing a PhD (which I am submitting in 1 weeks
time) on Autism Spectrum Disorders at the University of Auckland, New
Zealand. As part of my PhD I worked closely with individuals with autism
and Asperger's syndrome and their families.
I am interested in finding out about websites which advertise disability
advocacy jobs in the UK either at Universities, training institutions or
in the community.
Kind Regards,
Kate O'Connor
University of Auckland
New Zealand.
