Dear Pauline,
I am the disability advisor at the Royal Academy of Music and a dyslexia teacher. I am also doing a PhD in music and dyslexia. I would be very happy to discuss what we do if you want to email me at [log in to unmask]

Subject: Sight reading and Dyslexia
Dear All,
We have a few music students who are struggling at the moment. They are
doing performance courses and as part of this are expected to sight read
and sing/play immediately. We find that a lot of Dyslexic Students
actually fail this because they just can't read the music and sing or
play it instantly.
Has anyone thought of a way around this?
Regards
Pauline
