Skill wishes to recruit a temporary Policy Manager (full-time, ie 35 hours per week) to its London office to cover maternity leave of the Policy Director. The Policy Manager will cover aspects of higher education policy, including disability legislation, widening participation and promoting change to policy-makers. The post will also involve the production of written briefings and extensive liaison with government officials, statutory agencies and disability groups.
To fill this interesting and diverse role, you will have experience of interpreting legislation, report writing and public speaking. You will be strongly motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to liaise with a wide range of people. You will also be able to manage staff effectively and deliver high quality project work.
The remuneration will be as stated above. Skill will offer 10 days? holiday for the six-month term.
Secondment will be considered.
