This comes from the UCAS disability codes, which as a consequence what
we end up using within institutions, and is a self definition from the
students themselves. If the applicant / student considers that "unseen"
is most appropriate to their circumstances, rather than the other
options on offer, then that is what they can opt for. And which is often
interchangeable with "disability not listed above" (code 9).

Subject: Unseen Disability
Hi
Does anyone know if there is an 'authoritative' definition of 'unseen
disability' anywhere? Or do different institutions just make up their
own definitions?
Thanks
