Whilst not having read the article there has always been pressure from some
to vet all applicants prior to interview, thereby using the vetting response
to simplify the application weeding decision process.
This issue has potential to be either part of a related and ongoing pressure
process, or illustrates difficulties with the timeliness or speed of the
vetting procedure.
Either way DP issues will no doubt abound with the principles being
interpreted whichever way suits the approach of the interpreter rather than
in a broadly fair way.
No doubt tighter rules will follow as is generally the case.
