My original suggestion was that I would send the cartoon to people who
requested on a 1-1 basis.
I wasn't then recommending publication but I didn't really want to post it
to the whole list and so I wondered if somebody on the list had access to
their own website so that the cartoon could be made available to those that
wanted for a limited period of time.
I don't advocate publishing without permission (I suppose in this case there
is the question as to what counts as publishing).
Indeed yesterday I went to Westminster City Archive to look at a book which
I wrote. I lent the book to a then colleague some years ago and never saw it
again.
I wished to show some examples of my work to a prospective employer.
I was still restricted to copying a maximum 5 per cent of the content -
despite the fact that I wrote it - well, actually I am the joint author.
If anyone has a copy in their library of "London at Work, 1981, 1984 and
1987" by Kowarzik, U and Landau, N, that they don't want I would be much
obliged!
Nick Landau
