There is an article in this week's Health Service Journal "Sex offenders
register row" (www.hsj.co.uk - you have to register to access news items).
Apparently the HSJ exposed loopholes which would mean that people on the sex
offenders register (described as "members" in the text) could take jobs
working with patients including children for 6 months before being exposed.
The issue has been raised in the Commons and the Lords.
