Managers will still have to administer staff i.e. sick leave etc. whether the sick note eventually goes to head office or not. What about grievances line managers being involved etc. It's going to cost £35 anyway so why don't you go for identical notification.
Also if the CCTV is on your site then you may be joint data controllers. I would just register identically.
Have a good week-end all....I am just about to go.

Subject: Notification and subsidiaries
Hello
Can anyone help me with this? We are registering a company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of another. The Information Commissioner's helpline says that as it is a seperate legal entity, with a seperate registration at Companies House, then it needs to register.
I've no problem with this, but am getting in a tangle over what to register. The staff are actually employed by the larger company, so does the subsidiary have to register under Staff Administration? Similarly security arrangements, such as CCTV are managed by the larger company, so do we have to register for this?
I'd be gratful for any help on this!
Many thanks
Sarah Henning
