You can always also try the angle that any organisastion holding your data must take reasonable steps to ensure it is accurate and up to date and clearly they are not doing that if going off old electoral register details. More fuel to the fire and all that.

My problem is with being searchable at an old address on historic
electoral roll data. It wasn't supplied to the ERO for that purpose!!
