To some extent this is an Information Security issue, however I'm not aware
that there is an Information Security jisc group (apologies if there is).
We need to develop staff guidance regarding the storage and back up of
council data when staff use laptops that are not connected to our network.
From a storage aspect I'm interested in ensuring the data is kept secure and
can only accessed on a need to know basis. From a back up point of view I'm
keen to ensure that business information is backed up and available when
needed.
Is anybody aware of such guidance that could be shared with us at Thurrock?
