Where I lived previously material for recycling was left in pink/orange
transparent bags at the front of the property or in the street.
We used to leave items that were no longer wanted at the front of the
property and if they were at all desirable they would go very quickly - cf a
skip. I got rid of all my old computer equipment that way. Anything that
didn't go like that would be taken down to the amenity site.
Having moved to near the Green Belt this is not tolerated.
I don't know if the company that runs the amenity site has got any
facilities for HD's with data on. I don't see why not.
