As you know I have been trying to liberate the 20 page infraction
proceeding letter from the UK Government - this describes why the UK
Data Protection Act 1998 is not seen as a proper implementation of the
Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC.
Well I have lost the case and the Decision Notice has been posted on the
OIC web-site (September 2005).
If anyone wants a copy of the arguments I used in favour of a public
interest decision in favour of disclosure, e-mail me and I will send you
a copy
