As exception has been taken to this remark, I would add that naturally this
is based on my own specific experience at a particular place where I worked.
I would rephrase it as follows:
At one place I worked in the NHS it was my experience that business meetings
were held in the dining room - even when there were quiet areas set aside
for such meetings. Besides it meant that the lunch-break was no longer such
for those who were taking their lunch near by.
