It doesn't.
That was not my point. My point was that often the website will not be there
later - so the website is no use as a point of reference.
I have to make my own copy for my own reference.
I wasn't saying that my copy was for legal purposes.
May I say that your response to my message was more aggressive than my
fairly casual anecdote. I am not quite sure that what I wrote warranted
that. (You also sent me a personal copy!)
I am used to that kind of thing on a newsgroup but not here.
