That's why I tend to limit myself to not making more than one a month!
If the organisation really messes up dealing with my request (takes too
long, doesn't send lots of the data etc) I tend to ask for my tenner
back, though.
BT, for example, are probably one of the worst I've ever had to deal
with. It took them over 3 months to produce two sheets of A4 as being
all the data they held on me. After reporting them to OIC I eventually
got over 1000 pages of data, and my tenner back.
I only push for my money back in really egregious cases like this
though. If I requested in every case where the data came outside the
time limit, or where they clearly omitted data they should have sent,
then I'd probably be asking for it back in over 90% of cases...
