I am eating humble pie - again!
Some while ago I commented that it isn't an offence to frustrate a subject
access request by destroying, altering or whatever information. It is. See
Section 77 of the FOI Act (not the DPA).
This offence only applies to FOI "public authorities" - mainly public
sector.
I can't claim that I discovered this myself - the current Actnow newsletter
covers it.
So, employees of public authorities beware!
