Part-time Disability IT Support (0.5 FTE)
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to provide advice,
consultancy and support to enable staff and students with disabilities to
make effective use of IT-based assistive technologies. You will join a team
of systems support staff responsible for maintaining and developing central
IT services.
You will be able to demonstrate well developed interpersonal and
organisational skills and have a commitment to providing a high level of
customer-service. Your proven experience of maintaining and supporting
disability related equipment and an in-depth understanding of assistive
technologies will be essential. Experience of providing IT training for
disabled people, preferably in a higher education institution, is required.
This is a 0.5 FTE position and the working hours will be agreed with the
successful candidate. However, the post will involve working some evenings
(6 - 9 pm) to support part-time students. It may, on occasions, be
necessary to travel to students' homes to provide training and set-up
required equipment.

Salary range: £25,630 - £32,450 p.a. inc. pro-rata, dependent upon
qualifications and experience.
