Hi,
With our institution the normal procedure is for the Dept to pay for the
Interpreter for the interview.

Michele

Subject: Policy for providing communication support at interviews
Dear all
Just wondering if anyone has a policy on providing Sign Language
Interpreters at interviews. In this particular case it's a PG
student. Presumably there's no DSA funds available and therefore the
responsibiluty would rest with the College as I imagine this would be a
perfectly reasonable adjustment. However I wondered what the case was
with other HEIs - if this is paid for centrally or by Depts etc. I
don't want to set a precedents that haven't been thought out first.
Any suggestions?
Emma
