Hi Steve,
At UoB the Schools sort out extra rooms, invigilators etc, but NMHs (ie
scribes, readers etc) are the Disability Team's responsibility. Computers
(esp those with specialist software) can be a bit of a grey area... the
School will allocate if they have them, but sometimes we help out, if they
don't have any available.
Cheers,
Kirsty

Subject: Arranging Exam Provisions
Could other Disability Coordinators tell me what involvement they have in
arranging the exam support (e.g. booking scribes, equipment, seperate rooms
etc)for disabled students. Or is it mainstreamed through one dept (e.g.
Registry)
