Hi Becky
Here at the RNIB we charge 1/2 the original price if the original assessment was carried out no more than 3 years previously and there have been no dramatic changes in sight loss which would mean a complete change in equipment and study needs. In our experience the LEA's do not require the report to be as detailed, providing they still have access to the original report, which we could give them.

Subject: Top-up DSA assessments
I would be interested to know how much Access Centres charge for a top-up
assessment. Do Centres perform top-up assessments for students who were
originally assessed elsewhere, or just for their own students?
Also, do LEAs generally require top-up assessments to be as detailed as the
original report?
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
Becky
