Oh dear - I wasn't aware of that fact and simply joined in the normal way through the JISCMAIL site a couple of weeks ago. Has
something changed? Why is it necessary to e-mail you first? Are you vetting people or is it merely procedural? If the latter, it
looks like it isn't working.

Subject: Re: FW: Meeting for DSA Assessors - joining the APNA discussion list.
Clare mentioned the APNA discussion list that was fiormed for assessors. Just
to clarify how assessors can join that list. Please see below
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/apna.html
Please note if you want to join the APNA discussion list you cannot subscribe
yourself. Please send a message to me Mick Trott - at [log in to unmask]
DO NOT JUST REPLY TO THIS EMAIL I WILL NOT NECESSARILY SEE IT
Please state where you work as an assessor
The APNA discussion list has about 130 members. It is provided for discussion
of professional and technical matters of interest to assessors but not
necessarily to everyone on DISFORUM. You can only join if you conduct DSA Needs
Assessment
