With apologies for cross posting
Dear colleagues
From the end of May, my colleague, Chrissie Pepper who has been working as Policy Officer (Disability and Age) since November 04 will be moving sideways within the ECU to take up a new post as Policy Officer on cross-cutting equality and diversity work. During June, July and August she will retain some residual responsibility for work on age issues as the new member of staff joins us and settles into post.
As a result, there is now a full time vacancy in the Unit for a Policy Officer (Disability and Age). The post is being advertised this week in the Guardian (Saturday April 30th, Wed May 4th) and on the Works for Me, Disability Now and Ready Willing and Able publications ( and on line sites). Its also on our own website at http://www.ecu.ac.uk/about/jobs.htm
Any help you can give us in spreading the word about this vacancy will be much appreciated. Many thanks.
Liz Sutherland
