The Centre for Access and Communication Studies at the University of
Bristol is offering a range of professional short courses for people who
are currently working in support roles with disabled people or who would
like to learn more about working in this field.
The courses are as follows:
Working with Visually Impaired People (1-3 June 2005)
Working with People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (14-16 June 2005)
Working with People experiencing Mental or Emotional Distress (28-30 June
2005)
CACDP Level 2 Certificate in Notetaking for Deaf People (8-9 September and
21 November 2005)
CACDP Level 2 Certificate in Deafblind Support Work (4-6 October 2005)
Working with People with Learning Difficulties. (19-21 October 2005)
Each 3-day course is held in Bristol. Fees are as follows:
Residential - £320
Non-residential - £235
