Hi Pauline and Dis-forum,
I have used Brain Gym with students and for myself to deal with one bit
of my own dyslexia. It's a process I find useful, so I forwarded your
email to a colleague to ask what her response would be in terms of Brain
Gym; here is her reply to dis-forum:
Hi, there.
This query about memory programmes was forwarded to me recently. Your
members might be interested in the Brain Gym approach, which uses
physical and mental exercises to improve all aspects of brain
performance, including memory. I have had success with improving memory
for the people who have come to see me for help in this area after
accidents involving head injury, stroke and severe illnesses. Brain Gym
consultants are distributed around the UK and can be located on the UK
Brain Gym website (www.braingym.org.uk), or you could look at my own
site (www.oxfordbraingym.com).
with best wishes
