Subject: ESRC Seminar Series: "Collaborative Frameworks in Neuroscience and
Education"
Dear List Owner,
We would be grateful if you could circulate the following information to
your list users:
"Collaborative Frameworks in Neuroscience and Education"
Details of this new ESRC-TLRP seminar series are now available on
https://www.bris.ac.uk/education/research/sites/brain
This series will form an important platform for future projects combining
cognitive neuroscience and educational research in the UK and help develop
an interdisciplinary framework to support research in this area. The series
will draw together international experts in both fields to mark out the
road ahead in both practical and theoretical terms.
We are currently drawing up a list of those likely to be interested in this
seminar series. If you would like to be kept further informed of events in
this seminar series and the outcomes arising, please forward this email to
[log in to unmask] with
1. Your name and title
2. An indication of your discipline (Education, Educational Psychology,
Psychology, Neuroscience)
3. The name of your institution
We are hoping that the audience will represent a balanced cross-section of
the many different professional fields involved and thus part of the
audience is by invitation only. However, a number of places will also be
available to interested parties who are registered on this email list. For
each seminar, these will be announced by email and allocated on a
first-come-first-serve basis. For all events other than the Cambridge
Conference, there is no registration fee.
Please feel free to circulate this email to any parties who may be
interested.
Yours,
Dr Paul Howard-Jones and Dr Sue Pickering (Co-ordinators of the series)
Centre for Applied Psychology
Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol
