Dear Annette
We have had some experience of hearing impaired students requiring
amplifying stethoscopes for use in clinical settings, with either
acoustic ones or electronic ones being recommended variously for
different students. If you want to contact me off list I can probably
find the details of one we considered.
Depending on what other equipment is used to monitor the heartbeat,
could the student use any visual information shown?
