Dear colleagues,
You may already be aware that at the University of Cambridge I manage a
database of trainers
(http://www.cam.ac.uk/cambuniv/disability/university/trainingdb/) who are
interested in providing (or already providing) disability equality and
similar training in Higher Education. In order to make this database as
effective as possible, I’d be extremely grateful for some feedback as to
how training/trainers are used at your institutions.
How much disability related training is done in your institution?
Who organizes it? Is it Staff Development or the Disability Officer?
Who delivers it? Are they current staff or external trainers? Are they
principally in a training role?
How are external trainers chosen?
How is it delivered? Face to face? Lectures?
Many thanks, and apologies for cross posting, Kirsty
