Dear colleagues
A recent email draws attention to the current vacancy at ECU for a full time Policy Adviser (Disability). This is a personal message by way of background just to let you know that I will be moving out of disability work in the new year and moving to working on age discrimination issues only.
From mid February onwards I will be working part time as Policy Adviser (Age) and will be based in London two consecutive weeks in any four.
I will miss working in the disability field full time - and will especially miss the valued support and friendship of many colleagues down through the years - but hope that there may still be opportunities to contribute indirectly to disability work in the future and I am also looking forward in the new year to exploring the relatively uncharted territories and challenges of age discrimination law.
Meantime, do let as many people as you can know of the current vacancy. It's a great and timely opportunity to work with others taking forward disability equality . http://www.ecu.ac.uk/about/jobs.htm
With good wishes
Liz Sutherland
