Has anyone found a good system for implementing DSA funded in-class support
for PGCE students. In this case a visually impaired student has DSA funding
to support them in the classroom. The 2 options we are considering are
employing a support worker purely for the time needed and adding extra
hours onto an existing classroom assistant .
Has anyone had experience of making this work and the logistics of
arranging payment to the support cworker.
Any input/ suggestions gratefully received.
