Hi
I work with Chris and as she said in a previous mail we have had 1 success from Pearson and I was getting quite excited that maybe Pearson were thinking about how people can access their books. Today, the excitemnt left me as I sent off 4 of their web forms and about 30 minutes later recived 4 emails from them them to say that the books were not available electronically, they were very helpful by saying
"We would like to assist you with the alternative option of scanning the print textbook and creating your own electronic copy."
Great I thought now I can have support workers sat at a scanner scanning in these text's for hours.
I was also under the impression that books were available electronically if they were new text (published after 2002) all 4 of these books were published in 2003.
Any support workers out there that would like to scan in Applied Maths and check it?
ok moan over
Thanks for listening
Jane

Hi,
Have only just read the digest so late into this one. We have just got
agreement from Pearsons to supply a digital version of a textbook (but for
Environmental Science, not the areas Chris mentions).
